ASSESSMENT

The Conflict Competence Assessment is administered by the Canadian International Institute of Applied Negotiation (CIIAN) for learners who have completed Learning Module One: Self and Others. The assessment tests your understanding of the core concepts, tools, and models presented in the program, with a focus on how they apply in realistic conflict situations. Successful completion is required before applying for RCCP registration through the Conflict Competence Network

The assessment is made up of multiple-choice questions designed to test your understanding and ability to apply concepts from the Self and Others training program.

You will have 1 hour to complete the assessment once you begin. Be sure to manage your time effectively to ensure you complete all questions.

You must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass the exam.

Yes, you can retake the assessment, but you will need to pay the exam fee again for each attempt.

No, you only need to pass the exam once. The exam demonstrates your fundamental understanding of the materials presented in the Self and Others program and is separate from the annual registration requirements for maintaining your RCCP designation.

Exam results will be provided immediately upon completion. You will be notified if you have passed or need to retake the exam.

Once you pass the assessment, you will be eligible to register for the RCCP designation.

The assessment fee is $85 CAD per attempt.
